Radscan Intervec AB - Inventor of energy-effective flue gas condensation
Flue gas condensation is the main and most important business area at Radscan Intervex. The primary aim is to recover energy, but also to clean gases and pollutants. Flue gas condensation benefits the environment in several ways. Flue gas is treated and cooled with water vapor, creating latent heat which can be recovered in the district heating network. The energy recovery means that the need for fuel for heating decreases, along with the carbon dioxide emissions. Furthermore, condensation reduces the emission of sulfur dioxides and chlorides by up to 95 percent and fly ash between 50 and 90 percent.
