Värmekollektor was established in 1965 under the name Lerans Mechanical Workshop. At that time the company was constructing machines for handling of cables. In the 1980's the company changed its name and line of business. Värmekollektor started contracting in the energy field and designed and built landfill gas facilities.
Today, Värmekollektor is active in three fields; landfill gas systems, industry automations and heat pumps. The company designs and constructs turnkey landfill gas systems in their own workshop. Through the company Värmekollektor Automation, they work with industry automation. And lastly, Värmekollektor dimensions and sells collectors for heat pump systems.
Collecting landfill gas has double benefits for the environment; the emissions of greenhouse gases from deposits are reduced and at the same time an environmentally efficient and renewable fuel is generated.
